How do I delete my account and personal data?

In accordance with data protection regulations, you have the right to permanently remove your personal account and all associated data.


Deletion Procedure

To exercise your right to be forgotten and delete your account independently, follow these steps:

  1. Authentication: Log in to your personal space via the "Account" icon on the homepage.
  2. Profile Access: Navigate to your "Profile" page within the account dashboard.
  3. Finalise: Select the "Delete my account" option and follow the final on-screen instructions to confirm your request.

Impact of Deletion

  • Data Removal: This action results in the permanent removal of your contact information, address book, and saved preferences.
  • Order History: You will lose access to your digital order history and any previously saved invoices.
  • Irreversibility: Once confirmed, this process cannot be undone. Should you wish to shop with us again, a new account will be required.

Important Conditions

  • Active Orders: We recommend waiting until all current orders have been successfully delivered before deleting your account, as this ensures you maintain access to tracking information.
  • Legal Retention: Maison Polène is legally required to retain certain transaction data (such as invoices) for accounting and tax purposes, even after an account has been deleted.
  • Newsletter: Deleting your customer account does not automatically unsubscribe you from our newsletter. To stop receiving our updates, use the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of our emails.
